as you say just a 'hanger-on' for now  exotics are infected in my bloodstream, i find it hard to think of anything else, hope you enjoy the pics and vids...

GT2 is a beast, i drove it around just a little, never felt so much torque! thing is it's docile as you like to get around in, so after tooling around town for a couple hours, you hit the open road, put your foot down and it's just phenomenal... you totally forget the car can do.... *that*!! :o

as the Challenge Stradale was mentioned.... here's the vid of a drag race out front of the Cannonball F40 memorial between the CS and a 360 Spider: http://exoticsintheo...-360-spider.php

love the noise it makes, so intoxicating.

here's a few pics to go with it....

Gotta have dreams :)

Just because we can't afford them, doesn't mean we can't appreciate them.

It's easy to be a passenger in one. Just go to a day like the PCV family day and jump in as a passenger in a GT2/GT3/RS etc

And its that attitude thats stopping you from making money. why not try and strive to buy a supercar?
Its not that expensive, $300,000+, well within reach of EVERYONE who understands money.

Quit whining and go read a book called "Richest Man in Babylon"

Then again maybe you enjoy working?

Wicked cars.

law doesn't come in until Jan '07 or so but yeah sucks arse  however i'm glad to be able to say we did it. was a couple years ago when we were talking about the NT and it occurred to us that this isn't going to last forever so we better make the most of it... just a pity we weren't able to squeeze in one more trip. :(

oh well, our loss is your gain.... some of the vids i've never shown because i was a bit afraid the media might focus on them as a prime reason to get rid of unrestricted roads, they may make it to the light of day now....

nice vid man but ive got some constructive criticism... Fair enough it was a photo shoot but in a vid i like to see action why isn't there more action of the lambo smashing it down the road as opposed to driving round a carpark with its doors up

I can confirm that. I was on the Spirit of Tasmania a couple of years ago, and there were about 50 cars on the boat that were going in some tarmac rally there. One of them was a GT2. I nearly creamed myself.

it would seem not many people "understand money" as you put it - otherwise
we'd see a fair few more $300k+ cars getting around.

Do you practice what you preach? where is your $300k car?

 at the Monaro being an "exotic" - its about as exotic as a servo
microwave burger amongst those other cars.

That is my favourite post this year :D :D

When I was a kid I loved exotics. But now that I realise what a waste of money they are and how usefull that kind of money would be to me for other things I just don't seem to care anymore.

the monaro was the car MOTOR magazine managed to muster up  (check the first video to see it being used as a camera car)

once they saw the derestricted sign (where we're parked in this vid) they decided to show off before they became a little blue smurf dot in our mirror.....

vid -----> http://exoticsintheo...aro-burnout.php

Just joking, love that song. My uncle used to own a 911 4s (?) and he was legit... methinks

Im not sure about adelade but in melb / sydney / qld cbds ATLEAST one in 10 is a 150K or above ride.
I practice what i preach but i plan to set myself up well enough so that 300k on a car is poo change. at this stage my money is better off working rather than loosing me money. Im sure i could scrape $300,000 if i had to but im more interested in making more cash. Take my tip and read that book too.

Going by your logic you dont understand money because you dont have a $300,000 car?

Im sure you have your money working elsewhere like CBA at a whoppin %5.25 ;)
