Calling all SEVS Import/15 Year Old Rule Car Owners/Experts in S.A

Hey guys,

 

I was wondering if any of you from South Australia could help me out identifying whether or not an S.A Government 'State Identification Plate' from a pre '89 SEVS "15 year old rule" car I recently purchased from Tasmania has been modified or not. I contacted Regency today and because I was not able to present the car to them for inspection, they basically said they couldn't help me identify if the below is dodgy or not. Pretty stupid if you ask me.

 

Before I post the pics, I just wanted to let you know that I have photo shopped the first few letters/digits of the Chassis Number along with the make/model out to protect the car's identity.

 

Looking at the tag from even a moderate distance away, you can hardly tell that there's anything out of the ordinary

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It's not until you zoom in a little closer, the anomaly's seems to be a little easier to see

 

 

 

If anyone out there has a plate similar to this can you please check yours out and let me know if this is something I need to take further.
